Effect of KamiJoKyungSan (KJKS) on the Serum Hormones , and Uterine Contraction

Abstract
|
|
|
In oredr to prove experimently the effects of Kamijokyungsan on the hormones, content,and isolated uterine muscle.
We measured contractile force of extracted uterine muscle, on the change of FSH, LH, and estrogen hormones acting on uterus and ovary in mice,
The result of experiments were as follows :
1. FSH was decresed in KJKS - 7 days treated groups but, significantly incresed in 14 days treated groups as compared with the data of control.
2. LH was insignificantly incresed in KJKS --7 days treated groups but significantly incresed inl4 days treated groups as compared with the data of control.
3. Estrogen was decresed in KJKS - 7 days treated groups, but insignificantly incresed in 14 days treated groups as compared with the data of control.
4. KJKS increased contractile force in proportion to concentrations, and KJKS showed 97% of contractile force ofoxytocin 10^-3 g/ml.
5. KJKS were not inhibited in uterine contration by atropine.
From the above results it was concluded that KJKS increased
FSH, LH and uterine contraction.
